PLANNED WATER SHUTDOWN NOTICE
A planned water service interruption is scheduled in your area
Who: Customers in the Lynwood Estates neighborhood, in Athol from Roberts Rd. to E Trynity Ln., including N. Roberts Rd., and E Jensen Ln.
When: Friday February 6th 2026, from 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (about 10 hours)
Why: Crews will be installing standby power generation equipment to improve system reliability and reduce future outages
What to Expect:
- Prepare for water service to be shut off during the window above
- You may notice periods of returning water pressure during the shutdown window.
- Gem State Water crews and electrical contractors will be working in the area.
- You may notice air in the lines or temporary discoloration when the service is restored. This is normal. Flush your lines for up to 15 minutes after service is restored if you notice discoloration
- Crews will work to restore service as quickly and safely as possible
