that helps protect your family’s health and ensures the safety of our community’s drinking water.
As part of our 2025 Lead and Copper Rule (LCR) compliance efforts, Gem State Water is offering
voluntary in-home water testing to check for lead and copper — metals that can sometimes enter drinking water through household plumbing.
What You’ll Receive if Selected:
• Water Service Line Survey and/or Free water testing kit
• Delivered to your home and picked up by Gem State Water
• Quick and easy instructions to collect a sample from your kitchen tap
• $10 commodity credit on your September 2025 water bill — just for participating!
Why It Matters:
Lead and copper can pose health risks, especially to children and pregnant women. By participating, you’re helping us monitor and maintain safe water quality — and protecting your household and neighbors.
